Building Talurit® in America: Jason Ruby as VP Operations
Talurit Group
As an international brand and worldwide partner, Talurit Group consists of seven companies that are strategically situated around the globe.

Talurit Group Appoints Jason Ruby as Vice President Operations Americas at Talurit, Inc.
As Talurit Group continues to invest in its American organisation, the company announces the appointment of Jason Ruby as Vice President Operations Americas. This is a step that strengthens functional leadership in a market where Talurit intends to grow, and to be present, for the long term.
Jason Ruby has spent close to two decades in the lifting and rigging industry. He moved into capital equipment in 2007, began handling the Talurit® product line in 2012, when it amounted to three crates of ferrules, and joined Talurit, Inc. in July 2021, leading the U.S. operation since. “I like to say I was bleeding blue from the very first day,” he says. “Talurit became much more than another product line, it became something I wanted to help build.”
In his new role, Ruby takes responsibility for the operational side of Talurit, Inc.: customer service, warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics, together with the technical and service support provided to customers and to the outside sales team. With products arriving from several parts of the world, imports, customs and on-time delivery are a large part of the work. He also remains directly involved with selected customers and key accounts. As the American organisation develops, his responsibility grows with it: including manufacturing and assembly in the United States and the integration of future acquisitions.
Talurit® products reach well beyond the markets normally associated with wire rope. Alongside rigging shops, fabricators and shipyards, its ferrules and swaging machines are found in aerospace, stage rigging, earth anchoring and hurricane tie-down systems along the Gulf Coast. “A ferrule or a swaging machine can look like a simple product, but the application behind it is often extremely technical,” Ruby explains. “The best solution is rarely just selling a machine, it is helping the customer find the right combination of equipment and tooling to do the job safely.”
Protecting that closeness as the organisation grows is central to the new role. When a customer has equipment down, the team works with the customer, the service organisation and colleagues in Sweden to find the fastest route back into production. “Our customers know they can pick up the phone and speak with someone who understands their equipment and their application,” says Ruby, “and who will take ownership of the problem until it is solved.”
Ruby works alongside Luke Staten, VP Sales Americas, who leads the commercial organisation and market development across the region. Together the two roles form the functional leadership of Talurit, Inc. Growth on one side, the capabilities to deliver on it on the other.
“Jason has been part of Talurit’s journey in America for many years, and his commitment to our customers and colleagues is a large part of why we are where we are today,” says Victor Lindh, CEO of Talurit Group. “Passion and Pride is one of our core values, and Jason is a genuine example of it in practice. This appointment is an investment in our future in the Americas, we are building an organisation that can support our customers for many years to come.”
Looking ahead, Ruby’s focus is a stronger operational foundation, deeper technical support, and growth across the lifting and rigging markets and the many other industries that rely on wire rope and cable. “Customers are not just buying a Talurit® product,” he says. “They are buying more than 75 years of experience, and the people and support that come with the Talurit name.”
