Talurit® Swaging Systems
Offering a diverse selection, the STT-system with swage terminals cater to various wire rope types, including rotation-resistant ropes up to grade 2160. A meticulously engineered metric splicing system tailored for high-tensile wire ropes undergoes rigorous testing and validation in compliance with EN 13411-8 standards. The STTT product is just one of many in the Talurit® STT-system.
This innovative system, available in both round and hexagonal configurations post-swaging, ensures versatile applications. With sizes ranging from 1/4″ to 3″, customers can find the ideal fit for their specific requirements.
The STTT swage terminals adhere to the Talurit® system standards for mechanical splicing, ensuring reliability and performance. Crafted from specially selected carbon steel bars, the open/closed swage terminals undergo forging and controlled spheroidized annealing processes to achieve optimal hardness. When applied correctly, these swage terminals boast a remarkable efficiency rating of 100%, aligning with the catalog strength of the wire rope.
Applications:
Ideal for use with 6×19 or 8-strand, 6×37 IWRC wire ropes, the swage terminals or sockets offer versatile solutions for a range of applications.
Important details:
It is important to note that swage terminals are not suitable for fiber core or lang lay ropes, ensuring safe and efficient usage. For more information feel free to contact us.

When it comes to wire rope assemblies, ferrules and fittings play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and strength of the system as a whole.
Ferrules are metal sleeves used to terminate wire ropes by crimping or swaging them onto the rope. These sleeves are typically made of materials like aluminum, copper, or stainless steel, chosen for their durability and corrosion resistance. Fittings, on the other hand, refer to the end attachments, such as hooks, eyes, or links, that connect the wire rope assembly to other components or structures.
In wire rope assemblies, ferrules are used to secure the ends of the wire rope by compressing them tightly around the strands, creating a strong and reliable termination point. Fittings are then attached to these terminated ends to allow for connections to be made with other equipment or structures. This combination of ferrules and fittings ensures that the wire rope assembly can withstand heavy loads, vibrations, and other environmental factors.
We at Talurit Group have long been recognized as the pioneering force in the field of mechanical splicing of wire rope.
