R Eye Ferrule – Made from high-grade aluminum.
Our versatile ”fork” and ”eye” connectors cater to both chain and traditional combination rope applications. Designed to seamlessly work with GC16-RMU/RSP rope and 6mm DIN766 shortlink A4 (stainless steel) chain, these connectors share the same die for both rope and chain versions.
This innovative design not only minimizes material usage but also requires less swaging capacity compared to the previous rope version. The swaging dies for these ferrules feature a rounded side, ensuring a smooth transition between the swaged area and the eye/fork section.

All load and swaging force specifications are based on comprehensive testing conducted specifically on our Gerro™ Combi combination wire rope split (RSP) with a steel core (IWRC).
Please note that load capacities may differ with varying combination wire ropes, with load values denoted in kN (30 kN ≈ 3000 kg). For your convenience, each article number references the combination wire rope diameter required, such as GC16-E for a 16mm rope.
