AVL 75M – Uncoiling Machine
The Talurit® AVL 75M is designed as a compact and easy-to-use unreeler for small wire rope drums and smaller wire rope diameters. The machine is easy to set up, and wire rope drums can be changed quickly. Being fully enclosed, the operators working in the area are well protected. The AVL 75M is designed to take a maximum load of 75 kg in a various range of drum sizes (see attached sketch). Engineered with roller bearings for smooth operation to not interfere with downstream processes and accuracy.
The machine has a built-in lever that indicates if the wire rope is being pulled while also controlling the speed of the motion. Once activated, the machine starts to feed out more wire rope and will do so until it cumulates 1 meter, ready for quick payout onto the next cutting cycle.
This unreeler can be used as a standalone machine or as an integrated part of a Talurit® Wire Rope Handling System*. For batch cutting of shorter lengths of small-diameter wire ropes, this is our recommended machine. As a standalone unit, the AVL 75M will start unreeling as the wire rope is pulled out of the machine. The uncoiling speed is regulated by a potentiometer on the electrical cabinet of the AVL-75M.
*The AVL-75M must be integrated into a system solution on the order of the uncoiling unit and automatic cutting machine, it cannot be retroactively integrated.
