The solid rope connector is a popular choice, designed to join two ropes in a robust cross configuration. Injection‑moulded from UV‑stabilised, high‑grade polyamide (nylon) with a smooth finish, it protects rope sheaths while delivering excellent mechanical strength and long outdoor service life. It is being secured with a AISI 316 torx screw and has been tested and verified for demanding play, school, adventure and sports installations.
The maximum load capacity depends on the direction of the applied force: it withstands approximately 17,0 kN under straight (axial) tension and approximately 3,45 kN under angled (off-axis) tension.
