Introducing the Gerro™ Combi Cross Joint Ferrule (GCxx-C), a cutting-edge and patented solution designed to create durable cross joints on combination ropes. Our cross joint ferrules are expertly swaged using custom-designed press dies, a flexible process that can be seamlessly executed on-site or in a workshop, offering versatility and efficiency in application. By securely fastening the combination ropes with a screw before swaging and ensuring a non-detachable connection post-swaging, our innovative design eliminates the need for extensive manual grinding, resulting in smooth edges and heightened safety for end users.
The GCxx-C is specifically engineered to deliver a robust connection for combination ropes in a crossover configuration. Prior to swaging the ferrule with specialized dies, the ropes are anchored with a screw. Utilizing our proprietary swaging machine, the FPM 34 – Net press, guarantees a secure and reliable joint. For tighter spaces, our compact cross-joint press, the UB 10T, offers a convenient alternative.
Crafted from a corrosion-resistant special aluminum alloy renowned for its cold-forming properties, our ferrules combine lightweight construction with uncompromising safety standards. While optimized for Gerro™ Combi combination ropes, other rope configurations must undergo testing to ensure compliance with required load specifications before use.
