800T – Swager
The Talurit® 800T hydraulic swager is a medium range swager that comes generously equipped with several value-adding features as standard. Hydraulic swager for mechanical splicing of wire rope
On the large touch screen, the operator can easily monitor settings and change the required force, piston control settings and speed. The 800T Swager is manufactured from one single block construction, which ensures strength, long service life and minimal maintenance.
The body design is optimized to give open access to the swaging area, allowing for a larger space for the operator to work. The model is also equipped with a larger die holder than what is usual for the size. This means that a greater range of die sets can be used and more importantly; the swager can handle larger ferrule sizes in multiple swage operation.
The swaging operation of the Talurit® 800T is controlled by an electric foot pedal that permits the operator to use both hands to handle the rope assembly when swaging. In addition to the standard up/down function, the foot pedal on the 800T swager has a ‘hold’ position toggle to facilitate rope/eye adjustment and to make tool set-up quicker.
