The T aluminum turnback ferrules are the most commonly used ferrules in the market, they have a vast variety of applications, especially in the lifting gear industry. The T ferrule is thoroughly specified and very well defined for many different wire rope applications. Four different cases are tested and verified according to the standard, EN 13411-3. The ferrules can be used for fiber core, single-layer wire ropes, steel core single-layer wire ropes, rotation-resistant wire ropes, and some spiral strand ropes.

This is the original ferrule in mechanical splicing. Our core product. The T aluminum turnback ferrule system is easy and reliable to use. It is quick, safe, and has proved itself to be totally reliable. It is far more efficient than all other swaging methods on the market.
The Talurit® T-ferrule is the original in mechanical splicing and has laid the grounds for the European standard. Nowadays, the T-ferrule corresponds to the European standard (FSET) for turnback ferrule or ferrule-secured eye termination. The ferrule is according to EN 13411-3 standard and is produced from seamfree extrusions which are extruded seamlessly over a mandrel and the aluminium alloy is AW-5051A according to EN 573-3.
The T-ferrule is for usage on wire ropes with a maximum tensile grade up to 1960 while the TS (shorter version) is for tensile grade up to 1770. For applications above 2160, T-LOC™ must be used together with the T-ferrule.
