LK 45 1VS – Cutting Machine
The Talurit® LK 45 1VS is the table-mounted version of the LK 45. It has a cutting capacity of Ø 3 – 45 mm preformed wire rope and is both safe and user-friendly.
The LK series cutting machines with shears are mainly intended for cutting preformed wire ropes. This particular version, the LK 45 1VS, is mounted on a durable table/stand so that it can be operated at an ergonomic working height. Their open design and quick operation make these machines a convenient help in the wire rope industry.
Equipped with an auto switch the motor stops automatically after the cutting operation. The machines are easily started again by pressing the foot pedal. The automatic stop is a measure to bring down the noise level as well as environmental resource saving. Furthermore, the operator can adjust the shears starting position to minimize unnecessary movements.
The machines are equipped with a safety device including a cover with inspection windows and brushes on both sides where the wire rope is inserted. This protects the operator and it is still easy to enter the wire rope. The cutting capacity of ordinary single-layer round strand rope grade 1960 is up to 45 mm, 65 mm, or up to 100 mm depending on which model is chosen.
