130T swager

The TALURIT 130T swager is a good choice for achieving efficiency in your workshop for smaller sized wire ropes. Due to its single pillar open throat design you will have plenty of space for working and with the variable speed function you have superior control over the whole operation.

Key benefits:

  • Efficiency – With its standard functions such as speed control, hold position and stroke limitation, cycle time can be minimized.
  • Durability – Through our rigid experience and design, we support our customers to keep the machines running for decades and decades.

A good choice!

The TALURIT® 130T swager has 43% less environmental impact from production than machines with the same capacity from other actors in the industry.

Environmental impact

The 130T Swager type 1VS consists of a swager mounted onto a work bench and a hydraulic power unit while the 1VW-versions comes with a wagon instead of the stand. The machine is a compact design leaving a lot of room for the operator to move around and with the open throat, the operator will have a comfortable access to the swaging area. With the 1VW setup, the 130T Swager can easily be transported to the place of swaging, typically good when working in harbors.

The swager is built for long durability and is the result of continuously developing our swagers since the start in 1948. While technology has developed, so have our swagers’ with increased ease of operation and even better ability to service it. Our machine design together with the use of only leading brand components gives these machines the best service life in the market, and a lower total cost of ownership.

On the TALURIT 130T swagers, the swaging operation is controlled by an electric twin pedal foot control permitting the operator using both hands to handle the rope assembly. In addition to the standard up/down function, the foot control can activate a hold-function, which keeps the die sets in place, giving the operator time to facilitate rope or sling eye adjustment as well as making the making tool set-up quicker.

With the pressure gauge, it is possible to preset the required pressure and get the die set to open automatically once this pre-set pressure is reached. Saving production cycle time and reducing operator movements and wear of the dies.

The retraction length of the bottom die can be adjusted by the timer function. The hydraulic unit shuts down after an adjustable idle time and can be started again by just pressing the foot control. This energy saving feature is also in addition reducing the already low noise level.

The variable speed is an efficiency booster that gives you control of the swaging speed based on your application. By turning up the speed adjustment to maximum the piston will move with 10mm/s up to a force of 30 ton. It will then gradually slow down until maximum force is reached and the piston is moving with a minimum of 1mm/s. The speed adjustment can be set at any speed between 1-10mm/s. The Variable speed function of the P 0130 1VS enables the swager to have a faster cycle time while using less power, hence a good choice for the environment.

OPTION – B1 ECC
The base die holder for the 130T swager is B1/B2 (see table). Add the spring-loaded fastening nut B1 ECC to convert the die holder into a system suitable for swaging Flemish eye sleeves and terminals.

TALURIT – Safety / Efficiency / Reliability / Quality
Talurit uses the latest techniques in engineering to ensure our manufacturing processes are to the highest quality standard, as well as highest possible safety level. Our key components are fully traceable with batch numbermaterial certificates and quality inspections.

During development we take great pride in risk assessing our products to create a safe environment for the user, of course fulfilling the EU Machine directive and requirements for ISO 9001. On demand we can adapt this to any local standard.

All our swagers are developed and manufactured in-house in our workshop in Gothenburg, Sweden. And are delivered with a full technical documentation along with instructions.
