The AVL 5000B is primarily designed to be an integrated part of a Talurit\u00ae Wire Rope Handling System for cutting, coiling, and measuring. The AVL 5000B is equipped with an electromagnetic brake, controlled by a control voltage of 24 VDC, and a standard socket for fast connection to other Talurit\u00ae branded machines. When the power is on, the brake is released, and the wire rope can be pulled out. When connected to other Talurit\u00ae machines, the measuring unit or the automatic cutter will synchronize the movement of the wire rope drum with the overall cutting cycle to avoid wire rope on the floor. The brake can either be controlled by another Talurit\u00ae machine or by an external 24 VDC power supply with a standard on\/off function.<\/p>\n
There is also a version without a brake that is called the AVL-5000. It is ideal as a manual standalone uncoiling unit.
