Talurit® Swaging Systems
Talurit® EB End Stops (buttons) provide a compact, high-strength permanent termination for round strand, single-layer wire ropes. Made in Sweden from high-grade low-carbon steel and specially processed for cold forming, they deliver high efficiency and durable performance in lifting, hoisting, and general industrial applications.
Available in 1/8″–1 1/4″ sizes and compatible with industry-standard swaging dies for easy integration in existing pressing systems.
Engineered for compact, high-strength permanent terminations on round strand, single-layer wire ropes with FC or IWRC cores. Efficiency rating is normally up to 98% of the rope’s breaking strength when applied correctly and within the validated range. The EB system is validated according to EN 13411-8 with a maximum applicable rope tensile strength up to 1960 N/mm² and is recommended for 6×19 and 6×37 class ropes, IPS and EIPS, right regular lay. For use outside these parameters, testing is recommended to establish efficiency.
EB end stops are ideal for lifting, hoisting, and general industrial terminations where a compact, durable and high-efficiency solution is required. They are available in sizes to match common wire rope diameters, with aluminum and stainless steel versions available on request. Each end stop is clearly marked with the Talurit® logo, batch number, and rope size for easy identification and traceability.

When it comes to wire rope assemblies, ferrules and fittings play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and strength of the system as a whole.
Ferrules are metal sleeves used to terminate wire ropes by crimping or swaging them onto the rope. These sleeves are typically made of materials like aluminum, copper, or stainless steel, chosen for their durability and corrosion resistance. Fittings, on the other hand, refer to the end attachments, such as hooks, eyes, or links, that connect the wire rope assembly to other components or structures.
In wire rope assemblies, ferrules are used to secure the ends of the wire rope by compressing them tightly around the strands, creating a strong and reliable termination point. Fittings are then attached to these terminated ends to allow for connections to be made with other equipment or structures. This combination of ferrules and fittings ensures that the wire rope assembly can withstand heavy loads, vibrations, and other environmental factors.
