The 1000T hydraulic swager has a 2-pillar design and is manufactured from one single block construction, which ensures strength, long service life and a minimum of maintenance The swager is equipped with a powerful two-stage hydraulic unit and standard functions as stroke limiter and hold position.
The swager is built for long durability and is the result of continuously developing our swagers since the start in 1948. While technology has developed, so have our swagers’ with increased ease of operation and even better ability to service it. Our machine design together with the use of only leading brand components gives these machines the best service life in the market, and a lower total cost of ownership.
The operation of the 1000T hydraulic swager is controlled by an electric foot pedal permitting the operator to use both hands to handle the rope assembly when swaging. In addition to the standard up/down function, the foot pedal has a ”hold” position toggle to facilitate rope/eye adjustment and to make tool set-up quicker.
With the pressure gauge, it is possible to preset the required pressure and get the die set to open automatically once this pre-set pressure is reached. Saving production cycle time and reducing operator movements and wear of the dies.
The retraction length of the bottom die can be adjusted by the timer function. The hydraulic unit shuts down after an adjustable idle time and can be started again by just pressing the foot control. This energy saving feature is also in addition reducing the already low noise level.
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
Die holders
The die holders can be mounted either angular or square.
- FIX E1-GUIDE – Standard die holder with guided pillar.
- Optional FIX E1 – Optional die holders without guided pillar.
Insert die holders:
E and E1 are standard. With optional insert die holders smaller dies can be used:
- VIN D/E LIN for dies size D
- VIN D/E LIN together with VIN C-C1/D for size C and C1
- VIN 5″x7″/E1 DUAL for size 5″x7″
- VIN 4″x7″/E1 DUAL for size 4″x7″
- VIN 4″x7″ + 5″x7″/E1 DUAL for both size 4″x7″ and 5″x7″
- VIN 2½”x5”/D or VIN 2½”x5”/4”x7” DUAL for size 2½”x5”
Oil cooler (OIL COOLER 1000T)
If the 1000T hydraulic swager is running continuously in very warm climates, we can offer an additional oil cooler.
Adjustable height (HEIGHT ADJUSTER)
Standard working height is 1248 mm. With this option the working height can be adjusted from 1313 to 1508 mm.
Rigging Device (RBS 75)
Mechanical assistant for forming of turnback terminations. RBS 75 has both rotating and pulling parts.
Note! Only square mounted die holders are applicable.
Touch screen extended (T-PANEL EXT)
This user-friendly touch screen is a good way for operating the Swager and collecting production data to optimize production and setup time. Integrated service reminders and protective alarms increases the lifetime and helps you keep track of the swager’s condition. The extended T-panel is containing a recipe handling system to store different swaging programs, such as Flemish eye, End stop or STT-terminals. These programs will reduce human error and are according to the TALURIT splicing instructions. There is also a possibility to make different swaging cycles that can contain multiple stages of your own liking. The swager will perform each step by using the foot pedal stepwise until performing each of the steps the swaging cycle consists of. The T-panel EXT handles both metric and imperial measurements.
TALURIT – Safety / Efficiency / Reliability / Quality
Talurit uses the latest techniques in engineering to ensure our manufacturing processes are to the highest quality standard, as well as highest possible safety level. Our key components are fully traceable with batch number, material certificates and quality inspections.
During development we take great pride in risk assessing our products to create a safe environment for the user, of course fulfilling the EU Machine directive and requirements for ISO 9001. On demand we can adapt this to any local standard.
All our swagers are developed and manufactured in-house in our workshop in Gothenburg, Sweden. And are delivered with a full technical documentation along with instructions.
